Mercer Island was named a top ten finalist in USA Today High School Sports’ Best Boys Basketball Program Contest. Mercer Island received 23,067 votes and beat out six other high schools in the regional round, which included schools from Alaska, California, Hawaii, Nevada, and Oregon.
The final round of voting begins Friday at 2 p.m. ET and continues through Feb. 9 and noon Eastern. The winning school receives a banner and $1,000 for its athletic department. Vote here.
