Curtis Jackson III is more commonly known as 50 Cent, and he is a talented rapper with plenty of record sales to his name. He also has a teenage son, Marquise Jackson, who is currently a senior at St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy, in Delafield, Wisconsin. Just as his father has skills with rhymes, young Marquise Jackson is a really impressive budding hoops star.

Jackson showed that during a weekend face off against Brewster Academy, a serious contender for a spot in the Super 25. Lining up against a program that has sent eight prior players on to the NBA and more than 100 to Division I college programs in the past 13 years, Jackson took control, scoring 20 points and setting the pace of play from the point position. Along the way, 50 Cent’s progeny showed that he has serious handles and even better court vision.

In short, Marquise Jackson is a player (and boy does he ever look like his father, huh?).

Will he earn a Division I nod? Only time will tell. At the moment, he’s certainly off to a solid start to his senior season.
