Inglemoor center and Washington commit Deja Strother is in Chicago this week for Wednesday’s McDonald’s All-American game.

The 6-foot-4 Strother was the anchor for an Inglemoor team that went to the 4A state championship game, losing to Gonzaga Prep in double overtime. She averaged 18 points, 13 rebounds, and three blocks per game for the Vikings as a senior.

A member of Inglemoor’s “Fab Five”, Strother is the only Washington state high school basketball player selected to this year’s McDonald’s game.

Despite being from Washington, Strother will suit up for the East Team.

Catch the girls game on ESPNU at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and the boys right after at 5:30.
